Several
years ago Jeff's agency set about to find some way of
giving back to the community. Finding the right project
was the first step, this is when Jeff's mom came down
with breast cancer. She had not discoverd the tumor until
it was too late and came to the surface as a sore. After
this, one of Jeff's staff recommended that this be their
project, getting the message out about the importance
of early detection and self exams.
Since
1999 our Agency has been doing up to 5 or 6 different
projects per year. Some are as simple as prize drawings
to more complex drawings such as all day events. Since
they are a small office this meant they had to enlist
the help of family and friends. The support from community,
friends, customers and family has been great. Together
we have been able to give over $15,000 to the Cumberland
Valley Breast Care Alliance. One of our most successful
projects has been a customer cook book, selling over 1200
copies.
